Introduction

EnergyLink is an energy management software for use with DAE's line of energy and water meters. It collects data from the meters, logs them and allows the user to analyze and create reports from the data.

EnergyLink is available in three varieties depending on the features and scale, these are the EnergyLink300, EnergyLink400 and EnergyLink500.

EnergyLink300

  • This is the economy model of the software for the automated reading of electricity and water meters, it is meant to be installed on a host PC running Windows.
  • It links to and collects data from the various meters through either an RS485 or an Ethernet connection.
  • The products that can be connected are limited to certain electricity and water meters from DAE only. At most 30 meters can be connected.

EnergyLink400

  • This is the economy model of the software for the automated reading of electricity and water meters, it is meant to be installed on a host PC running Windows.
  • It links to and collects data from the various meters through either an RS485 or an Ethernet connection.
  • The products that can be connected are limited to electricity and water meters from DAE only, including multi-function meters and other energy monitoring products. At most 30 meters can be connected.
EnergyLink300/400: One meter per tenant

Supported Devices

The EnergyLink300 can only connect up to 30 electricity or water meters. It can connect the DEM, DFM series of electricity meters and the AMR water meter module.

The EnergyLink400 can connect with the meters and devices shown in the diagram below.

To track where the resources are consumed, each building or department can have electricity and water meters installed, the data is then collected and logged by the host computer which can then be analyzed later.
